# Swap FIL and cFIL

In order to stake Filecoin, users need to swap Filecoin to synthetic asset cFIL.

### Swap on the CrossFi DApp (FIL -> cFIL)

1. Go to the wallet section on the CrossFi DApp.
2. Click the 'Swap' button on the cFIL balance section.
3. Click the 'Login' button to authorize copying the recharge address.
4. Deposit FIL into the copied address for exchange.
